Fully Insured and Bonded
Being a bonded and insured pet sitter is vital. We are fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. 
American Red Cross Certified
Thoughtful Paws Pet Care is certified in pet first aid and CPR techniques through the American Red Cross Pet First Aid certification course, 
learning how to treat emergencies that involve a cat or a dog and how to protect onself and the animal from further harm, injury or suffering during emergencies.

Pet Sitters International is the worlds largest educational association for professional pet sitters. PSI members have access to the most extensive 
and helpful slate of benefits and affiliate programs in the industry. PSI pet sitters are able to offer pet owners cutting-edge technology and information for in-home pet care. About
Thoughtful Paws Pet Care was born out of a love of caring for cats and dogs. Like most pet owners, I have had a passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with dogs and have had cats as pets my entire adult life. Thoughtful Paws was created after taking care of my friends' dogs and cats and realizing that pet care and being around pets was something that was very important to me. I have 2 cats, Peter, who is 13 and Vivienne who is 2. I have had Peter for over 7 years and adopted Vivienne when she was just a few months old. They are a joy in my life and inspire me to make sure others know that their beloved pets are well taken care of when they are not home. Thanks for visiting us.

Services
Thoughtful Paws specializes in cat sitting, dog walking, and small pet sitting. Our service area includes: Somerville, Cambridge, and Dorchester. If you are in cities bordering the ones listed above we may be able to service you. Please do not hesitate to inquire. We're friendly!. We look forward to becoming a part of you and your pets' lives! For new clients, we will schedule an initial meeting to gather information about your pet. At that time, we will also pick up your house key which will be number coded and secured in a lock box.
Small Pets, e.g., guinea pigs, rabbits...
$12 per day for 1 visit
$20 per day for 2 visits
Special needs will be assessed on case by case basis
Dog Walking / Sitting
30 minutes = $16 (up to 2 dogs)
3 dogs (per household) = $20
60 minutes = $25 (up to 2 dogs)
3 dogs or more (per household) = $30
Dog Walking is now available anytime during the day!
Boarding now available! $40 for overnight, $30 for just during the day.
There will be a $5 charge added to the rates above for the following holidays: New Year's Eve & Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day
Cat Sitting
$16 per day for 1 visit
$25 per day for 2 visits
There is no additional charge for pilling, insulin injections, or liquid medications.
If your pet needs additional medical care, an additional charge may apply.
There will be a $5 charge added to the rates above for the following holidays: New Year's Eve & Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day
Boarding now available! $40 for overnight, $30 for just during the day.
